Dr. Daniel Amen: America’s Psychiatrist should come to Korea

Dr. Daniel Amen is a doctor who specializes in brain disorders, and a researcher who studies psychiatric problems for 32 years. He also diagnoses and works with people who have mental illness and specializes in working with people who have ADHD and ADD.

Dr. Amen, Mark Hyman M.D., Pastor Rick Warren, and Mehmet Oz M.D. (Dr. Oz) together designed a program called Saddleback Church’s “Daniel Plan,” which was a program that lasted one year, to get the world to become healthy and was to be accomplished using religious organizations. The first year the people of the church lost over 250,000 pounds. What surprised everyone though was that people actually getting healthy. People reported having more energy, being able to focus better and better moods. They also claimed to be able to cut back on many medications for the people involved. The Daniel Plan is now being taught all over the world helping people of faith get healthy.

Dr. Amen is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the highest and most important award that a doctor of psychiatry can get and is board certified in two areas, one, by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for General Psychiatry and two, for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is also in charge of the research for the world’s biggest study of x-rays of the brain and the study on professional football player’s rehabilitation. He has also studied their brain injuries, and has consulted with the NFL on athletes after having concussions. He is a writer who has written nine books that have made the New York Times bestselling list.

Dr. Amen went to school at Southern California College and got his Bachelors of Science degree in biology and he graduated in 1978. He then went on to get his PH.D from Oral Roberts University School of Medicine; he then graduated there in 1982. Dr. Amen did his general psychiatric training in Washington, D.C. at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

He completed his child and adolescent psychiatry training in Honolulu, Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center. Dr. Amen went on to do the required 200 hours of training to get his radioactive materials license from the Institute of Nuclear Medicine Education. He also went forward and did the 1,000 hours that was required of clinical supervision in reading scans.

Batalla, the youngster is progressing enough to join the Spanish gaint’s senior squad. He could join the Real Madrid junior team to improve more to step up to the next level in La Liga.

The Champions League winners are hopeful to sign the deal with the youngster goalkeeper by the end of the week. Batalla is now in the team of South American under-20 Champions league game and play on the kick off game on January 14.
